In The Dust

By: Caramalize Cullen

Chapter 1

Awakening

Fire was all I felt strange feelings, pain and all of the above were rushing all over me I felt myself slipping.

"CARAMEL!" was all I heard after I was attacked by some man in black no one was with me but him Michael told me to meet him here in this dusty old shed far from civilization. But as I came in I realized Michael has died 2 days ago from in some fire at his fiancée's home. Then there he was in front of me attacking me he started choking me. Black. It all went black.

It might as well been months or years that I've been in the fire. What was going on I felt heavy the rush of fire reined over me again, again and again. All of a sudden my hearing became so clear I can feel the fire going away all I can hear was my heartbeat pumping slowly and more slowly than normal, some birds chirping and my own heavy breathing. Total loneliness the man in black has disappeared. I felt something in my hand but I couldn't see it my eyes wouldn't open!

FLASH

My sight was back the fire was gone my sight was stronger than ever so was my hearing my skin felt hard as rock my skin was ice cold I felt strong!

I got the thing from my hand a note!

Caramel I have bitten you when you read this note I am probably dead already you are now a vampire here have this address it will help you a lot this family will help they are kind they are the Cullen's tell them Don sent you and tell them your story you can trust them Forks Washington. Your senses will help through the rest. Hope you're thirsty behind you a dead human drink the blood if you'd like

Love, Don

Now that I think of it my throat was burning I looked behind me there was a human. Dead. But the blood was still fresh and warm it made my mouth water with silvery stuff. My senses took over I attacked the human for no reason at all and completely drained it in seconds. I looked at my bloody hands my purple dress was all ruined I still felt thirst, beside me there was nail sticking up from some wood. I shall test myself. I smacked my hand onto the nail with all my new strength. Nothing again nothing. It only tickled. I looked at the nail it was bent I have bent it. WOW! I scanned the dusty shed I can see the tiny fragments of dust every tiny detail with my new sight. A mirror I picked it up and looked at myself. My eyes were piercing red! My gray colored eyes are gone the iris was now blood red my light brown hair was bloody I looked beautiful!

I got the note again and looked at the city I need to go to Forks heard of that place small and cloudy. I lived in Olympia Washington as Don said; I followed my senses to look for this family
