This Romeo and Juliet story takes place during the new version of the movie, but Mercutio looks like the Mercutio from the old version of the movie. I do not own Romeo or Juliet so don't sue me. The first chapter is kinda short so forgive me; they will get a bit longer.
Now on with the story.
"Serafina get back in the car!" Theobald called after the slim girl that retreated from the limo before it came to a complete stop. Serafina raised her hand over her shoulder, extending her middle finger, she smirked with pride when she heard her other brother, Ricardo, laugh and her mother, Diane, gasp in horror.
"Thora get back in this car this instant!" Diane shrieked after her daughter. Serafina ignored them all as she ran up the stone steps to her cousin Romeo.
"What you couldn't wait to see me dear cousin?" Serafina hugged Romeo tightly,
"No, sorry, I just couldn't stand being so close to Theo." The two shared a laugh,
"So before my mother decides to kill me, why don't you show me around?" Sera noted the look of hesitation that crossed his face,
"What?" She asked, a pout setting her lips. He shook his head, grabbing Sera's hand and leading her back down the steps and off down the street, ignoring his other relatives' protests.
"Nothing lets go see some sights!" Romeo dragged Sera all around pointing out the church and statues and different buildings. Serafina wasn't thrilled by any of it, she enjoyed spending time with her cousin but he was only showing her boring things.
"Over there is the beach, it's kind of crowded." He started dragging her towards another street,
"Can't we go see the beach?" Romeo looked almost afraid,
"No it's really nothing to see." Sera grabbed his wrist dragging him towards the beach despite his complaints.
