"So, Shiki, you know how Rima said she does weird work? What do you suppose she meant by that?" Rima's hands tightened around the book she was holding. She glared up at the person the words came out of. Ichijo. And Shiki was sitting next to him. They appeared to be oblivious of her presence. "I'm not sure, Ichijo. Maybe she fights werewolves or something." Shiki chuckled. "Nah, we're vampires. Werewolves wouldn't seem all that weird to her. How about aliens?"

Rima glanced back down at her book. She couldn't focus on what she was reading. "Aliens? Ichijo, please. Do you really think aliens exist?" Rima could almost hear Shiki's eyes rolling. "Well, you never know what's out there. If you were a human, would you believe vampires exist?" Rima grinned, glad this conversation was turning away from her. "But I'm not a human, Ichijo. We're off topic. Rima, remember?"

Rima whipped her head in Shiki's direction. He was smiling. Okay, so Ichijo was oblivious to her presence. Shiki was doing this on purpose. "Um, what if she works as a waitress?" Rima felt sorry for the book she was holding. "A waitress? Yeah, right. She wouldn't consider doing something so demeaning." Ichijo exhaled. "Hmm, yes, I think you're right. But I can't think of anything else." Shiki groaned. "Too bad. This was starting to get interesting."

Rima returned her attention to her book. Shiki was going to be in so much trouble for even starting this discussion. She contemplated what she was going to do to him. "Hey! I've got something else!" Rima froze. What was Ichijo thinking?

"What if she works in a strip club? She could do something like that." Rima felt a pair of eyes burning into her back. "A strip club? Yeah. That would be weird for her." There was a long pause. Shiki broke the silence. "Now that would be something I'd pay money to see." Rima couldn't take it any longer.

"Will you two shut up?! I am right here, hello?!" Ichijo looked at her, and Shiki already was, smirking. "Oh. Sorry, Rima. I didn't see you there. Did you, Shiki?" Rima flashed her eyes to Shiki. "No, I didn't see her. Hello, Rima." He beamed at her. Rima stomped out of the room. "You knew she was there, didn't you Shiki?" Rima slammed the door. "Maybe." Shiki replied.
