Just A Song
It was Christmas Eve as a brown-haired "commoner" girl wandered along the elegantly decorated corridors of the Suou mansion #2, trying fruitlessly to find her way back to the ballroom in which she was in just moments before.
Finally, coming to a set of large oak doors, she breathed a sigh of relief at finding the elusive ballroom. After all, she was getting tired with all this wandering anyways.
However…
Instead of the warm and bright ballroom filled with the music and sounds of the many guests she was instead greeted with sounds of a different kind.
Sweet notes echoed throughout the dark and hollow room that she found herself in, as a lone figure sat in front of a magnificent grand piano, effortlessly fingering the instrument.
It was a song of…melancholy, she finally decided. A song that was both bitter and sweet. The notes told of the pianists feeling perfectly, as if she could feel the bitterness and longing in the piece, along with the underlying gentle sweetness that tied the song together.
She stood there for an infinite amount of time, just letting the bittersweet sound wash over her. She never knew that music could captivate her like that.
Finally though, the last notes echoed throughout the room, ending the piece. Abrubtedly, the pianist stood up and walked towards a set of balcony doors and threw them open, allowing a gust of winter air to rush in.
Silently, the girl followed.
"T-Tamaki-senpai…" the girl whispered to the boy, almost afraid to snap him out of his pensive state.
Immediately, the blond turned around. "Haruhi! What are you doing here! It's freezing! Go back inside!" he reacted, in his typical "drama king" fashion.
"That…that was beautiful" she replied, with a slight blush against her pale skin. Just like you.
"It was…it was written for you Haruhi!" the boy managed to stutter out, as he felt a flush creeping up his neck.
"Really?" the girl asked, a look of surprise on her features, as she turned a shade redder. "Then…thank you, Tamaki-senpai. It truly was a beautiful piece."
"Just like you," he stated simply, as he leaned down to place a soft kiss on her lips.
AN: Just a random little drabble I came up with. I hope you liked it! Just some TamakixHaruhi fluff I thought up when I was watching an amv of Tamaki playing the piano (: I hope it was sweet! and please, review! 3
