Prologue:
"In a time before time, in an alternate dimension, there was Mata Nui, an island paradise that was home to a race of beings called the Matoran that lived, worked, and celebrated for the great spirit, whose name was the island's namesake. But happiness wasn't to last, for Mata Nui's brother, Makuta, was jealous of his homage and betrayed him. His darkness was cast over the Great Spirit, who thus fell into eternal slumber. Through time and again, he created followers to take over the island and enslave the Matoran.
"However, the Matoran never lost hope, for a prophecy was fulfilled. A prophecy of six mighty warriors who embodied the elements, the Toa: Kopaka: Toa of Ice, Lewa: Toa of Air, Gali: Toa of Water, Pohatu: Toa of Stone, Onua: Toa of Earth, and Tahu: Toa of Fire and leader of six. Together, they fought Makuta and his threats and the Matoran were safe.
"It took the combined power of the Toa to defeat Makuta and re-awaken the Great Spirit. However with victory, came a price. The Matoran had lost their heroes, but finally saw peace. Generations passed, and through Makuta was defeated, his zealots remain. They have plot to reawaken Makuta and spread his darkness. Now, across dimensions, new heroes will be summoned, of a very different kind".
