One Shots! Lucky for Link You can't fix stupid

Link and Midna find out the startling discovery of stupidity. Nonspoileriffic. This actually happened to me while playing Twilight Princess. I thought it would be somewhat amusing to see it from a character point of view rather than my own. sort of.

Link walked into the forested area, only to find a wind empowered walkway that faced parallel to him, with two villains waiting for him at each end. Lucky for Link, the layout – consisting of a widely large aerial space between him, the walkway, and the villains. It made it easy for the villains to be targeted, and still get away scot free without any damage. Thus - killing two birds with one stone.

"This ought to do the trick." Link thought to himself as he whipped out the boomerang and struck both villains. Both were dazed for a moment. When they came to, the two villains became enraged and charged after Link.

Link watched as they fumbled down and wailed out of sight into the opaque mist that practically never ended in the aerial space.

Midna came out of the shadows to watch the fall.

"That," Link coined sarcastically, "Was a little too easy."

"Well, you know what they say," Midna replied. "You can't fix stupid."
