Moonflow
Rikku had never imagined that she'd actually be doing this, joining Yunie's guardians instead of capturing Yuna, hiding her away and never letting her out, well at least until she knew for sure she wouldn't be off battling Sin. Rikku hated the fact that her precious Yunie was willing to do that. Sacrifice herself for everyone else. It was wrong, so very wrong. There just had to be another way!
'lnyb!' she inwardly cursed to herself in Al Bhed. 'Imagine what pops would say!'
Indeed, Cid would probably spontaneously combust if he heard about this. He'd sent Rikku out there to stop Yuna, not help her! The bald Al Bhed leader would definitely love to hear about this!
"What's the matter Rikku, something wrong?" Tidus spoke to the blonde, patting what was gestured as a comforting hand on her back.
"Heh", Rikku looked up from the ground to see the company looking at her impatiently. She was so lost in her thoughts that she never realised that she'd physically stopped walking.
"You seem...weird", drawled the tanned Zanarkand blitzer's voice and he looked toward the rest of Yuna's guardians. Who, in turn, actually seemed to agree with Tidus.
"I-I'm ok! Really", the blonde reassuringly beamed and started to jog along the path past the rest of the guardians.
Lulu, with an emotionless demeanour watched the blonde pass by. Crimson eyes rolled as she inwardly sighed. 'I thought we had enough nonsense with Tidus here', her thoughts brought half a smile to her plum lips. Rikku seemed as though she was the breath of fresh air they all needed lately.
"It's pretty huh?" the Al Bhed had stopped not too far ahead of the group and she gazed out to the Moonflow. Moonlillies blossomed above the water causing the pyreflies to dance in the breeze, twirling out to shore, with that almost hypnotic sound they had. Spiralled eyes blinked in awe.
"Yeah", Tidus spoke toward his friend in a gentle nature, which seemed to most that he always had, due to his 'cry baby' nature.
He caught up with Auron, Kimahri and Wakka, since it seemed the girls were behind. Yuna, Rikku and Lulu three all stood watching the pyreflies, in their dance.
"It is pretty Rikku, yet not the prettiest thing I've seen today", a sultry voice which could only belong to the black mage of the group spoke in a contemplative manner.
The thief looked from the water, past her cousin to where Lulu stood. Rikku had not properly talked with the mage, being that she had literally joined with them minutes ago. Yet Lulu seemed the type of natured person who, never talked much, or so it seemed to Rikku. Rikku was bubbly, hyperactive, and mostly talkative. Lulu however seemed reserved and...so...above, above well, everything. Rikku had never met anyone quite like this. However she made sure she took a good look at the mage. Everything thing about her screamed temptress. In Rikku's eyes anyway, and Rikku never usually had such thoughts.
Heat rose to her cheeks in realisation and embarrassment. Rikku had a crush, and Lulu, well, she knew. Lulu always knew.
"Hey! Come on, ya. We've gotta' get to Guadosalam!"
