It was something that just happened. She was talking non-stop and even though she was extremely frustrated, she still looked gorgeous.
It might have been the way she threw her arms in the air, to illustrate a point, or the way she licked her lips, in between long pauses.
She rested her hands on the edge of her desk and stared at the stack of papers upon it before she went on about it again.
"Doc, we'll figure something out. Don't get so bent out of shape." The other woman in the room let out, as she put her hands on her hips.
"Kate, you honestly have no idea! This is..." Helen cut herself off as Kate was suddenly very close to her. She almost forgot about the missing in action Abnormal.
"You know what, Doc?" Kate spoke as she placed her hands on the older woman's cheeks.
"What are you..." The doctor started to say but was cut off this time by Kate's lips on hers.
"Shut up and kiss me."
