I watched him from afar, it hurt, but I had to… Just until I had got rid of all Moriarty's web. I saw the tears fall from his blue eyes, down his tanned skin and fall to the ground, I noticed everything about him.

For a fleeting moment, fear went through me; it had done that a lot recently. The terrifying moment when you realize you're starting to get attached to someone. I sighed, its just as they said, you never realize how much you need someone until they are gone. But John wasn't gone, just unreachable.

I saw him sit by my 'grave' he was smiling ruefully and talking as if I was actually there. I was never a man with feelings, until I met John. John Watson, the man who brought me out of my shell. I stared at John, he didn't believe I was a fraud but he though I was dead, as did everyone else.

It was the only way to save them.

I noticed John had fallen asleep, it looked uncomfortable. I knew he was a heavy sleeper so I risked it this once. I moved towards him and moved him so he leant against the tree my 'grave' was near. I took off my coat and put it on him. It was risky, I know, but I couldn't let him just freeze.

He looked so peaceful, I closed my eyes painfully, I needed to leave. I looked at him once more, "Goodbye John Watson" I whispered and walked away, it was hard…. But I had to.

I looked once more over the church yard, and went on my way to leave London for the next 3 years.
