Setting: 73rd Hunger Games
District 2, the Capitol, and an arena
AN: Well, this is a redo of Chiiz Nagoha: Deadly Orphan. Basically an upgraded version. If you read the old story and hated it, give this one a shot.
When I was little, life used to be a game. If you did something wrong or bad things happened, it didn't matter, because you could always start over. But living in an orphanage, rooming with a girl that grew into my mortal enemy, gradually made me realize that I was wrong. When I escaped and was punished in front of the rest of District 2, I got to live with my cousin. But that didn't make life much better. My cousin was poor. Very poor. So much so that the only difference between our apartment and the orphanage was that there was a person here who loved me, and I was the only kid in the building. But the living conditions there were the same, if not worse. Kids used to tease me. I used to cry. I still do, actually. And when I cry my heart out, my realizations are confirmed. Life is not a game. No real game would be this cruel. There's no real game where you can't win.
