Just to warn anyone who is about to read this, I AM NOT AN ATHEIST! I am
merely presenting a paradox to monotheistic beliefs.
Who is God?
God cannot really be described as a "who" since He is a concept that people have come to believe in. Because this is a man-dominated society, God is therefore a "He." God is a concept that was created by tyrannical figures to make themselves powerful, and over time, people began to willingly believe these people because they were scared that if this phenomenon, God, really did exist and they didn't believe in Him, they would be punished or worse yet, killed. And now, because of this concept of God, war are going on a people are being slottered and tortured. If this God that everyone says is so loving a caring really does exist, where is he now? Why is He letting all these people die? Perhaps these people have been brainwashed by religious and tyrannical figures and are fighting for a cause that does not exist. There is also another matter that comes to mind. If God is so loving and caring, why is he treating the human race like children? He punishes us when we make a mistake and rewards us when we are good. Some people believe that it is for our own good, to be punished and rewarded for our good and bad deeds by a superior being. But who ever gave God the right to judge between right and wrong. Where did these concepts of right and wrong come from? Who made God superior and why is he superior? Yet again we look back on those tyrannical figures who created the concept of God to gain more power. This was most likely part of a grand-master plan or conspiracy of some sort. However, their plan probably backfired somewhere because they had led so many people to believe in their concepts of God, right, and wrong that they were immediately overthrown and killed for heresy.
P.S.: I don't write like this for fun. The question was presented to me during History class and I just made something up. Okay?
