Lester addressed the group in a conference setting. "As you know, the Prime Minister wants to release the information about the anomalies to the public in a manner that won't scare them. I am certain we have all had time to think of family-friendly ways to release this information."
Connor announced, "Oh! I have an idea!" He raised his arms in the air, palms open, hands side-by-side. Then, he spread his arms out as if revealing a banner. " 'Primeval Central' – where history comes alive."
Cutter was leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed. "Yeah, history comes alive to bite you in the arse."
Jenny Lewis said to Lester, "I refuse the Prime Minister's orders. Releasing the information in any format is a PR nightmare. The anomalies are too dangerous. I won't be responsible for risking people's lives."
Connor protested, "Oh, this is no worse than Jurassic Park. We already handled velociraptor, and a T-Rex. And pteranodons. And those were not anywhere near as dangerous as in the movies."
Abby Maitland added while cuddling Rex, "The most dangerous part about the velociraptor episode was Conner here shooting me instead of the raptor. Besides, not every creature that comes through the anomaly is dangerous. Just look at Rex here." Abby smiled at Rex who made a cute flying-reptile sound and began to purr.
Lester agreed with Abby. "Rex would be a great way to introduce the anomalies to the people! And that Mammoth has been the best pet my kids ever had. It certainly stopped the bullying problem and keeps them out of trouble. Mammoths are better pets than dogs."
The Ghost of Stephen Hart irritably reminded everyone, "Don't forget the saber tooth. And the future predators."
Cutter: "Stephen's right. The future predators were bad. Really bad."
Jenny: "and there were the worms"
Abby: "and Connor shooting me"
Cutter: "and the Silurian scorpions."
Author's note: Earlier in the year, I came up with this idea for a Primeval fic in skit form. I wrote this before I saw third season, even though I saw previews for it, so I know now there was no T-rex, but I decided to keep it for sake of the Jurassic park parallel.
