Spring 2005

Nineteen-year-old Mary Jane Watson was struggling to pay her way through college. She was living at her dorm until she was kicked out fro drug possession. Then, she went from house to house, from friend to friend, struggling to maintain good grades throughout college.

So…to get more money, and be able to survive on the rough streets of New York City…Mary Jane became a STRIPER.

(May 12, 2005) The strip club was dark and the glass windows at the bar vibrated from the bass. The music blared and men were swarming.

On stage were five women; five stripers. (Think The Pussycat Dolls, except with less clothes and no singing.)

The striper that was center stage had pale skin, but luminous red hair that was wavy and a little longer then shoulder length. She spun on the nearest steel pole and jumped up, grabbing on the top of the pole.

The men howled. She put on her most seductive face as she flipped herself upside down and descended the pole. Then, upon landing, she flipped over and performed a split, in which she bounced on it.

Mary Jane Watson twirled her head grinned at the male that were throwing bills her way. She spun and faced the audience in her black get-up--- a black, jewel-studded bra and a cut-up mini skirt.

The song "Secret Lover" by Dawn Richards played in the background as she performed on stage, under the alias "Red Rain Drop."

Ms. Rain Drop stood and posed in her six inch heels. Looking up, her hair fell over her shoulders and then, she saw him…

Mary Jane felt the air leave her lungs and her body felt cold. He was searching the room for her, then his eyes fell upon the stage…and he caught a glimpse of her and her toned body. He saw her cleavage and he saw the thong…

Mary Jane quickly ended her routine and ran off the stage, but not before gathering her money off stage.

"What's the rush, girl?" asked Cherish, her closest striper friend backstage.

Mary Jane sat at her booth, gathering her clothes in a rush. "Pete's out there!"

Cherish was confused. "Who?"

Mary Jane looked up. "Peter Parker, my ex-boyfriend."
