Summary: Kagome is living the life of a cold, withdrawn high schooler. Inuyasha is suddenly thrown into a relationship he always dreamed of, but realized is fueled with fake hope. When Inuyasha discovers Kagome, he wants to help her. To love her. But, fate has it's way of wiggling itself into everybodies lives. When Inuyasha finds out Kagome is part of a crazed game, with pawns identical to the mysteriously murdered victims, will he go far enough to break the darkness's hold on Kagome, or will he run in fear to save his life. Death is all around us, and so are the peolpe involved in it.
