The Accidental Kiss

Jackie Stokes was asleep on the couch but was awoken when her husband came over and gave her a slight, sweet kiss. Jackie didn't open her eyes but a light smile crossed her lips as she kissed him back. Jackie then realized that there was something odd about the kiss, facial hair was tickling her, and Nick did not have any facial hair. She opened her eyes and was horrified when she saw two beautiful green eyes staring into hers.

"Warrick what the hell do you think you're doing?" she demanded.

She quickly sat up and Warrick sat down next to her with a huge smirk on his face. It was then that she saw Nick on the other side of the room.

"Honey, I'm so sorry, I thought it was you, I swear to God I did." Jackie said immediately as she got up off the couch and went over to her husband.

Jackie didn't notice Nick was laughing hysterically until she had crossed the room.

"What the hell is so funny?" She asked with a little anger in her voice.

Nick didn't answer so she looked at Warrick who was also laughing. Warrick didn't answer her either so she crossed her arms and said "Would somebody please tell me what is going on, one minute I am enjoying a nice nap on the couch and the next I am unknowingly kissing my husbands' best friend, am I the only one who thinks there is something wrong with that?"

Nick was still laughing but he managed to say "You should have seen the look on your face."

"What?" Jackie asked flabbergasted.

"Your face was priceless." Nick repeated.

She had no idea what her husband was talking about so she turned to Warrick, "Warrick what is he talking about?" she asked getting impatient.

"This was all a joke, we just wanted to see your reaction when you realized it wasn't Nick that you were kissing" Warrick explained.

Jackie turned to her husband "You mean you were in on this?" She asked. "Of course he was, in fact it was his idea. Do you think I would just kiss my best friends' wife behind his back?" Warrick asked.

Jackie glanced at her husband, he smiled at her and said "what he just said is 100% true, we just wanted to get a rise out of you."

Jackie shook her head, she had to admit they had gotten her good.

She started to walk out of the room but she turned back and looked at both of the guys "You two better watch your back, I am so going to get you for this." She said.

She continued walking but stopped when Warrick said "Jackie"

She turned around "What?" she asked.

He smirked at her "Which one of us is the better kisser?" He asked.

"I hope you know there is no way in hell I am answering that."

The guys laughed and as she turned to leave the room once more, Nick grabbed her arm. He also gave her a devilish smirk "Honey, if you are going to cheat on me could you at least not do it with my best friend?"

"Oh shut up Nicholas" she said breaking away from his grasp.

The guys once again started laughing hysterically.

Jackie grabbed her car keys

"Where are you going?" Nick asked.

"I'm going to get a coffee, after what you guys just did to me be grateful that I am not going to the bar to get hammered."

Nick chuckled as he watched his wife walk out the door.

Warrick walked next to Nick "You know that I am the better kisser right?" Warrick taunted.

"In your dreams Brown" Nick said back.

Warrick grinned and then said "Jackie gave me an idea; you want to go for a beer?"

"Sure." Nick said.

The guys enjoyed their time out, and Jackie enjoyed sitting in the quiet coffee shop she loved so much, and she was already plotting her revenge.
