Many people have forgotten the tales and legends of ancient past. They told about a boy, clad in green, whose destiny was to vanish the evil from the land of Hyrule. He was the hero, and many heroes came and went.

The land of Hyrule was once a mass of chaos and confusion. The three goddesses, Din with her power, Farore with her courage, and Nayru with her wisdom turned the chaos into a beautiful landscape.

Three golden triangles where left when the goddesses exited our world. It was called the Triforce. To the Hylians the triangles were a sense of hope and security. They prayed to the Triforce to pray to their golden goddesses. The triangles were kept safe in the Sacred Realm where it still lays today.

Yet, this is not the tale I wish to tell you.

The reincarnation of Demise was defeated yet again by the Hero, the barer of the Triforce of Courage. However, soon after peace was reached, the land itself went against the people. The tectonic plates shifted and collided with one another. Lava from the volcanoes, including Death Mountain, poured down the rocky slope. Water from the seas rushed into the bay, flooding into the land. This is what you call a tsunami. And, with every second, stronger more powerful earthquakes struck.

The creatures of old and the Hylians were killed within this new chaos. Even the barer of the Triforce of Wisdom, the princess, and the Hero could not stop this and they died as well. However, with their last breath, they used it to pray to the goddesses, to their Triforce. Din, Farore and Nayru did nothing.

Many centuries passed and the land of Hyrule was destroyed in time. The sword of legend lost. Every bit of the land was gone. New people, humans, built new towns, new countries and new legends amongst this land they called theirs. None of them knew about what happened to the ground they stood on.

Though, the legends of old that survived on the wind's breath. Though, the winds once reached a young boy. The child loved the stories he heard and no one believed him. When he grew older, he started a company that would create games based on the legends. It was called, The Legend of Zelda.

Thousands of humans bought each video game they released. This is how the legends were retold even if all thought they were nothing but lies and fantasy.

The golden goddesses are still up in the sky watching. Yet, I bring you one message.

The Legend is Not Over.
