Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts or Teen Titans... Sadly...
Don't kill me! I like Raven curious and not always monotonous. I also made her appearance different. And I hate Robin! AND Starfire!
"Raven? Are you okay?" Cyborg asked, concern lacing his voice. Raven was sitting by the window, clutching her chest looking outside. Her other hand, surprisingly, wasn't on her book, but on the window. It seemed like she was reaching out to an invisible person. She looked at him. Although her face was blank, her green eyes betrayed everything. Sadness, pain, hurt, shock.
"My...heart...it hurts. Aches." She looked down at her hands, like they sprouted more fingers.
"Probably heartburn, Raven," Cyborg smiled, loving her curiosity at life. Raven smiled slightly and nodded. She got up and quietly left to her room. Walking down the hallway, she passed Robin's room and heard him talking to Starfire.
"Friend Raven does not belong on this team." Starfire said, malice and fear in her voice.
"I agree... I'll go tell her later. She is just bringing us down." Robin's words cut into Raven like a knife. Cupping her hand over her mouth, Raven ran to her room and let herself fall onto her bed. Sobbing uncontrollably, she forced herself to sit up and pull out a backpack. Might as well leave now, so I don't face what'll come later.
After packing necessary provisions, Raven teleported to Jump City Square. Ignoring all the strange looks she was given, she ran in the direction opposite of the T-tower.
Meanwhile... in The World That Never Was...
"Axel... Pay attention." Saïx hit him over the head. Saïx hates being interrupted while he was talking, especially when he was talking about missions, "As I was saying, there is a heartless problem in the world called "Jump City." A Ruler of the Sky and a Leechgrave have been reported to have been sighted there. They have caused massive problems for the residents residing in the world and it should not be overlooked." Axel yawned. It was the same thing everyday. Routine, routine, and more routine. All he wanted to do was just sit there and sleep. He would admit it himself, he is laid back, but he makes sure he can get his mission over and done with.
After Saïx finished talking, Axel said, "Alright... sounds easy."
"You think everything is easy." Saïx scoffed. Axel shrugged and followed Xigbar and Vexen. As Axel was about to go through the dark corridor, he felt something in his chest. He stopped and grabbed his chest. What is this? Shaking his head, he stepped through the dark corridor. He caught up with Vexen and Xigbar. In a flash of colors, they were in a very big city. The buildings were made up of metal framework and glass. The citizens rode in giant metal automobiles. What confused Axel the most was the big giant tower shaped like a T on an island.
As Axel stepped into the sidewalk, he was knocked over by someone. He looked down to see a girl with brilliant green eyes, like his, look up at him. She was very skinny and tall, but not as tall as Axel. Her long black hair was in her face. Axel was up on his elbows while she was trying to get up, but they both fell down. Axel laughed but she did not.
"Axel, come on. We'v-" Vexen came over and saw her. The girl looked at him with wide eyes. Axel had to admit, anyone would melt under that cute gaze, even Xemnas, the leader, "Who's this?" Axel shrugged.
"Just met her. She ran into me and we fell." Axel smiled sheepishly and looked at her, "What is you name?"
She seemed hesitant at first, but then she smiled slightly and said, "I'm Raven." His eyes widened, her parents picked a perfect name for someone like her. The black hair of a raven and the slender figure. Suddenly realizing she was really pressed against him, he helped her get up.
"I'm Axel... Nice to meet you." Then, a rumbling came from nearby, and a plant-like heartless appeared from the ground. It was the Leechgrave. It saw the group of people and its vine grabbed for Raven and succeeded. It picked her up and she screamed. Axel ran to her and reached for her hand, but the Leechgrave slapped him away. Axel looked at her and saw fury in her eyes. She yelled.
"Azarath Metrion Synthos!" Black magic escaped her hands and wrapped around the heartless. She started to strike at the coffin in which the creature that controlled this thing was in. The coffin broke and dissipated. Then, soon, the rest of the creature followed suit. Screams erupted from around the square as a bright light filled the area. All that was left after the light disappeared, was Raven. She was trying to get up, but kept falling down. Axel raced towards her and supported her when she sat up. Axel lightly touched her middle and his hand came away red. Almost as red as his hair.
"Raven! You're bleeding!" He made her look at him, her eyes were half open. Axel realized she was close to death. His prayer seemed to have been answered when he saw people in weird clothes come. They looked important and seemed like they could help, "Help me!" Axel yelled. The people rushed over and once the guy that was half robot saw her, he yelled.
"Raven!" He ruched over and knelt in front of Axel, "What happened to her?"
"Heartless attack. One showed up and attacked her. She defeated it with her powers, but she was hurt in the process." Axel said bitterly. He didn't want anyone to get hurt, but someone did get hurt.
"Heartless?" The boy that was dressed like a traffic light questioned.
"Creatures without hearts." Axel explained. He was getting impatient, "We can stand here and talk while she dies, or we can get her help." The boy didn't like his attitude. He stepped forward and was nose to nose with him. Xigbar and Vexen were starting to walk forward to pry him off but Axel held out his hand to stop them, "No...I got this."
"Heartless? Who would make up such an excuse as that? Obviously you hurt her." The boy pointed at his chest. Axel's eyes widened.
"Me? I would never hurt her! Why w-Hey!" Axel yelled. The girl with red hair darker than his and orange skin was putting cuffs on him, "I didn't hurt her! What are you doing?"
"Taking you back to the tower to interrogate you." Robin said simply. He nodded at the girl and the boy with green skin who was behind her just in case he tried to escape, and they dragged him off. He gave Xigbar and Vexen a look and said, "I'll be fine."
At the T-tower
"Who are you?" Axel asked.
"I'll be asking the questions here," Robin snarled, "I am the leader of the Teen Titans, Robin. This is Starfire, Beastboy and Cyborg. I assume you already know Raven. Who are you?"
"Axel." He growled.
"Where do you live?" He continued, ignoring the menace in Axel's voice.
"The World That Never Was." He said truthfully.
"That isn't a place." Robin snarled again.
"I guess it is because you humans call it another world." He retorted. Robin rolled his eyes and continued.
"Who do you w-?" Robin started but the door burst open. Then, Axel was on the ground with Raven on top, hugging him.
"Axel! I'm so glad you're okay." She said. Axel smiled and stroke Raven's head.
"It's more important that you're okay. How did you heal so fast?" Axel asked, using this time to his advantage, Robin was shocked that Raven had jumped onto someone.
"I healed myself with my powers."She smiled a toothy grin.
"Cool," Axel laughed at her easiness, "How many times are you going to knock me over?"
"As much as I want." She said, still grinning.
Axel laughed again, "Well, it's nice to see you up and running again." Then a cough cut them out of there little conversation.
"You hurt her, so you shouldn't get comfortable." Robin said curtly. He looked stiff.
"Hurt me? He did not hurt me!" Raven cried, picking herself up. Once Axel was up, she clung to his arm. Robin seemed shock at her outburst. The always quiet Raven turned into an one-time-yelling Raven, "Who in their right mind would say that? Oh wait, you!"
"Woah! You know him?" Axel said, suddenly even more confused. Raven nodded.
"I used to be on this team. I ran away because he was going to fire me." Axel looked at Robin, then gave him a hard look.
"Fine! Since you heard me by eavesdropping, let's just say it to your face! You are FIRED!" Robin yelled at the top of his lungs. Not only did this scare Raven, but it felt like a knife to her heart. She let go of Axel and ran for the door.
"You're mean!" Was the last thing she said before she entered the hall. Axel glared at Robin abd saw that Robin was smirking.
"You're good for nothing, save making Raven cry!" Axel yelled before running after her.
I don't care what Saïx says, I'm staying here and watching after Raven. Axel thought angrily. I WILL.
Soooooooooooo. What do you think? The ending sucks I know, but it's my best. I think it's too much dialogue. Oh well. At least I can tell what's going on... Anyways, still sick! So no flames.
