Secrets and Lies
{A Sequel to "Heating Up"}
Lumiere couldn't handle seeing Babette in the castle everyday. They hadn't talked since the day she slammed the door in his face. He still loved Cogsworth, but he wanted her to at least be his friend again. Maybe. Cogsworth waved shyly when he walked by and Lumiere quickly kissed his cheek, making him scurry away with a blush on his face. When Babette walked by he got pure silence.
Babette walked by him again and there was silence, but she slipped him an mad face on her way out. "Babette..." he said. "Please listen." She huffed and stopped, turning to the thin and handsome man behind her. Although she had to admit he didn't look as swauve and flirtatious as usual. He looked almost... sad. "What?" she said, a little less angrily. "I'm sorry. I still love you... I was only helping him with his burns." he explained. "Really?" she said. "Really." he said, kissing her softly.
Cogsworth waited at 10:00 p.m. He was all cozy in his pajamas and waited for Lumiere to come in for the night. "Bonjour, mon amour~" Lumiere said flirtatiously. Cogsworth smiled as Lumiere closed and locked the door. He laid in bed next to the plump man and ran a hand up and down his bulging tummy. "Am I getting to fat, Lumiere?" he asked. Lumiere laughed, but by the seriousness in Cogsworth's face he could tell he was serious. "Non, mon cher. You are perfectly plump and that's alright with me." Lumiere said, laying his head on Cogsworth's soft abdomen. He had to admit, Cogsworth was chubby and adorable. Lumiere loved to pinch his puffy cheeks and touch his stretched tummy. Lumiere slept cuddled up to to his love. The extra weight made him so much warmer.
Babette waited for Lumiere at 5:00 a.m. This was 15 minutes before Cogsworth was to wake up and get dressed for the day. "Lumiere!" Cogsworth called. "Hold on, my mistress." Cogsworth stood with his shirt not quite buttoned. "I can't do it..." he said sheepishly. "Help me?" Lumiere crossed to the embarrassed man and helped him get his clothes on properly.
Babette and Lumiere were kissing behind the curtain. Cogsworth needed to get through. He opened the curtain, gasping at the sight. "You cheater!" he said, running off. Babette gasped and ran off too. Oh great, now they both hated him.
