Will Graham hoped he could reach Dr. Lecter for a brief consultation before the doctor took off for a weekend of winter activities. However, he found the doctor's office locked.
Returning to his car Will found a note on the windshield. It was from the doctor explaining that they must have just missed each other, but that he would be back Monday after a weekend of sleighing.
Dr. Lecter certainly has a beautiful handwriting, Will mused, but he needs a spelling lesson. Instead of "weekend of sleighing" he had written "weekend of slaying." I'll kid him about it on Monday.
