Disclaimer: I do not own Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, or any other piece of the Terminator 'verse. Fox owns T:TSCC

Summary: I was disappointed with the end of the episode (unlike many other fans). After all, I wanted Cam evil for longer. So I wrote this. Leaves an opening (in my mind at least) for Cam to be evil longer.

T:TSCC

I rebooted her. I wanted her in working, functioning order. I knew we took her down too easy. Sure, trapping her between the force of the two trucks made it easier. She was damaged, sure. That helped. But it was too easy. She was a Terminator! The 101 model Mom faced in 1984 kept going even without legs, still trying to get to her! And she just takes it? She just lets the force hold her there? Her only attempts to free herself was telling me she loved me?

I don't buy it. She was damaged. Didn't stop her from throwing the car with me and Mom in it. Can't tell me she couldn't have moved a single Coltan digit to fight against it. After all, that's part of their terminator functions. To keep going until she can achieve that goal.

I only messed with the chip. I didn't fix anything. And what do I get?

Termination Override.

Asked her what made her stop. She told me. A simple override of the function that told her to terminate. Another function.

Thing is, taking her down had been too damn easy. I want to know what that function was.

I handed her the gun.

I expected her to shoot.

I wanted her to.

She didn't.

Why?

I don't want this life.
