Tried not to describe too much of the girl, as usual. I don't like writing OCs...
This is kind of like a Valentine Countdown? Not sure, but a day a drabble! THIS IS VERY LACKLUSTER I'M SORRY... One day I will rewrite this.

One day.

恋の始まり。
「あの日から、頭の中は君、君、君だけは一杯で、もう、何も考えられない。」

He happened to meet her in the worst day of his life. The first day of the new school term, that spring day when he first enrolled in 3-E. He had thought that anything would be better than being there; he had only wanted to disappear, to not go to school anymore—everyone treats him as if he's lower, dirtier than dirt itself, as if he's hopeless. What wrong had he done?

"If only I..."

"...Is anything wrong?" He flinched when he heard a feminine voice from behind him. When he turned around, he was surprised to see someone he had never seen before. She looked very unique, nonetheless; how did he not notice such a person?

"A-ah, it's nothing!" Nagisa replied quickly, and he could hear the buzzing sounds of students gossiping, "It's better... if you don't talk to me."

Not hearing his strained whisper, the girl asked with a confused expression, "What...?"

"No, it's nothing!" Nagisa hastily replied, "It's just that you will probably get—"

"What are you doing?!" a sudden shriek surprised the two, and the girl was yanked away from him, "Get away from him!"

"Huh...?" The girl looked at her friends in surprise. "What? What is happening?"

"Don't you know he's in Class E?!" One of the girls yelled, "If you socialize with him, you'll drop to his level too!"

Then, another one of the girls gasped in realization: "You're... a transfer student, aren't you?"

The girl nodded, confusion still apparent on her face, "Understandable," Nagisa thought, "You wouldn't know about the discrimination unless you're enrolled here..."

"We'll tell you everything on our way to class! Which class are you in?"

The girl nodded, not knowing what to say or do, "3-B," she replied.

"Aren't you really smart then?" Another one of the girls said, "In any case, let's go! It feels really bad just by being near him."

Nagisa could only look down.

"Why—"

"Let's just go!"

As the girl got dragged by the other girls, Nagisa sighed, "I've to get used to this, I guess," he thought, "But... that girl..."

It's been a while since then, and Nagisa has finally adjusted to Class E. Everything has been going smoothly—his friends are mostly nice, he noticed, and despite being the lowest of the low, the worst of the worst, the trashes of a prep school, it wasn't as bad as he thought—it was just the discrimination that was over the top.

He walked out of the run down school building in a thoughtful expression. He still wasn't able to get the girl's face out of his mind—the one he met on the first day of his third year, the one who looked so confused as to what was happening at the time.

It was a strange feeling.

"...-kun..."

"...gisa-kun..."

"Nagisa-kun?"

A familiar, yet unfamiliar voice snapped him out of his reverie, and he looked up, only to see a face he's been thinking ever since their first meeting.

It was her...

"...You are..." Nagisa said in surprise, "Why are you...?"

The girl bowed low—a gesture that will probably never be done by anyone to a Class E student—and apologized, "I'm so sorry for leaving you like that!"

But... he had thought that she'd forgotten him...

The girl continued, as if knowing what he's thinking: "I've never forgotten about you," she said, "They told me afterwards about what Class E is, and how I should never communicate with the lot. Ah, they told me your name too—that's why I know."

Nagisa looked down.

"But... I've never cared about the class system or anything like that!" The girl hastily added, "I... Now that I know why you looked so down when we met, I just couldn't forget about you. I wanted to know more about you, I wanted to be by your side, I wanted you to know that being Class E doesn't make you any less a human than everybody else."

She took his hands in hers, "I've always wanted to meet you, but nobody would tell me where Class E is," she said as she looked into his eyes, "I've looked all around the main school building, I've asked the Student Council President, I've tried all the ways—everybody knew I'd come here if I know where this place is, so they wouldn't tell me..."

Surprised, Nagisa asked in a low voice, "...So then, h-how...?"

The girl grinned, "Tricked someone into telling me," she said, as she stuck her tongue out, "I'll do anything to meet you."

Without realizing, Nagisa reddened: "Why? Just for me... why?"

A sheepish smile, "I don't know. I... guess I'm attracted to you?" almost as if a question, she replied, "In any case, I just want to see you."

"I've wanted to... meet you too," Nagisa replied, after a few moments of silence, "Perhaps I feel the same way as well."

Nagisa held the girl's hand tightly. It was the first time he felt genuinely cared by someone. If it's possible. he would never want this moment to end.

"Is this what they call falling in love at first sight?" The girl thought aloud, "I wouldn't know. I've never been in love after all."

Nagisa blushed a shade of red, but he replied nonetheless: "I don't know either, but the only thing I really want to know right now is your name."

"Ah! I forgot!" She said, "I'm..."
