a\n: this is an au in which each person has a soulmate, and when that soulmate gets hurt a flower will appear in the other persons hair. ex. rich is jakes soulmate in this so say rich got hurt then a flower would appear in jakes hair. i couldnt find the original creator of the au sorry. also this is set during freshman year, but other than that enjoy!
jakes pov.
you walked down the hallway sighing as yet another flower fell from your head. you started to look around for anyone who might be getting hurt, and almost immediantly saw a short boy with a faint red streak in his hair being shoved into a locker. you stopped walking to watch what was happening. "have fun tying to think your way out of this way goranthki..." he whispered before he and his friend walked away. once they were gone you walked over there, and peered through the slits of the locker to see the small boy crying. out of sympathy you opened the locker door. the other boy didnt seem to notice so you tapped him lightly. he looked up quickly, blushing lightly tears still pricking his eyes. "are you okay?" you asked him as a single petal fell from your hair. "i...i'm...fine..." he whispered not making eye contact. you smiled lightly at his shyness.
richs pov.
you looked up to see the person who was helping you smiling. god...his smile was so beautiful. you blushed more as he held out his hand (which you gladly took) to help you. "th-thankth..." you whispered smiling. "no problem!" he replied with a wide grin. you looked down at your watch to check how much time you had left.
