The Hulk ran inside the city, destroying everything in his path. Banner lost control when he fell out of the plane when Loki's troops charged in. Many of the city's people were under the wreckage left behind, but luckily enough, there wasn't any fatalities.

The continuous fury withing the physicist that began when he lost Betty turned him substantially more vulnerable to provocations and threat situations.

Banner's conscience seemed livid inside Hulk, keeping him from demolishing many houses, but some were no more than rubbish after a punch or two. Bruce seemed to learn how to control the "other guy" a little more each time he transformed.

The physicist passed by a school, which made him force the Hulk to get away, he did not want to get children involved at any cost. The city looked desert, everyone ran and found somewhere to refuge, afraid of the green monster that hid the brilliant scientist.

Rushing out of her office, a girl saw the scenario made of pure chaos and the one that made it was merely a few meters away, completely frozen, like a living statue. Hulk's strong and heavy breathing was leading the girl's, who looked at him without disdain nor fear, only curiosity with a spark of compassion in her eyes.

Taking Hulk's immobility as an advantage, she got closer, studying the giant's frame. Her walking caught his attention but, even in his most aggressive state, he only looked at the courageous being, turning all of his enormous body towards her.

Without saying anything at all, she got even closer and, due to Hulk's curved body, caressed his face. Said man was defeated by a mere touch, once again taking the form of the physicist, who only whispered "I love you", kneeling before the lady.

As part of the routine, the alarm clock started ringing. "Betty..."
