{Disclaimer: Only one person in the below story, Lela, belongs to me, mainly because she is me. It should also be noted that "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" doesn't belong to me. All characters in this story, unless they come from "RHPS" are really just friends of mine.}

"Yea, I walk through the Alley of the Shadow of Frank. He is with me. Blessed are the Lips, for they begin the film. Blessed is Columbia, for I portray her in my cast."

I led my Rocky Horror Picture Show cast through our first of many thankings of Frank-n-Furter for watching us over the past week and getting us all to the theatre on time for our preparations for a midnight show. Funny, some of the kids from school who were associated with the cast were late for everything, but they were always extra early for shows. My friend Aimee, who played Magenta, was standing next to me in the group of actors, prop people, and others, and she smiled as she recited her part of the ritual chant.

"Blessed is Magenta, for I portray her in my cast."

Everyone in the group had a part of the chant to recite. My friend Amanda said, "Blessed is Janet, for I portray her in my cast."

"Blessed is Brad..."

"Blessed is Riff..."

"Blessed is Eddie..."

"Blessed is the Prop Diva, for she showeth what you must carry into each scene."

"Blessed is the spotlight guy, for he lighteth the way."

Finally, the chant was finished. I had only one more thing to say. "Folks, Let there be Lips!!!!"

Well, here we were, ready, willing, and able to do our first performance at a showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". All of us were upstairs in the movie theatre's crying room, waiting for our cue. The projectionist walked in.

"Kids, I'm gonna turn off the main lights now. I'll follow you down stairs, and when you're just inside the auditorium doors, I'll hit the lights."

Aimee looked at me nervously and squeezed my hand.

"Well, looks like this is it, 'Columbia'."

"Yup, 'Magenta'."

We marched down the stairs into the auditorium, and that night, we became legends.
