What! " What do you mean the others haven't returned?" Tai's voice came roaring over the phone.
Sora replies "It's just like I said, Tai. When I got back from tennis camp they weren't at school, or anywhere around."
"O.K." Said Tai. "I'll change and be right over." Tai had just returned from a half-day soccer tournament with his team, the Lightning Cobras, two hours after Sora had come from her tennis camp. He finally meets up with Sora, half an hour later.
"Tai, what took you so long? I thought you weren't going to make it".
"Sheesh" Tai replies. " My mom made me do the dishes. She thinks the others are on a camping trip with Izzy's parents. Now, why aren't they back yet?"
"I don't know. They weren't anywhere when I got back. I assume the digimon emperor has tem trapped or something. Although, that would be pretty hard, with the new level of Armor Digivolving that Hawkmon and Gatomon have reached; and since Patamon can digivolve into Pegasusmon or Angemon." Sora said.
"Yeah, well, he was able to defeat them with before with his Champmon." Tai says, "But that was before we knew Patamon could digivolve into Angemon. So, we had better go to the digitalworld."
"We can't go to the digiworld without one of those new digivices", Sora says, full of disdain.
"However", says Tai, "Davis is on my soccer team. He said he was planning to go there this afternoon at around 4:00. Oh no!" Tai yells, "It's already 3:50! We only have ten minutes to get to the school!" Tai rushes off, Sora right behind.
"Davis!" Sora yells, as they reach the school. "Wait!"
"Stop!" Yells Tai, as he climbs up the second out of four flights of stairs. "We need to go with you!"
"Huh?" Asks Davis, to himself "Who was that? Oh well. Digi ports open!
Just as Tai and Sora enter, Davis disappears into the computer.
