Chad's POV
"So what did you want?" I asked Sonny.
"Some answers." She replied, looking very serious, which concerned me. What did she want to know?
"To what?" I ask, trying to match her tone.
"To how it all ends. To how long it's going to be before you ask the girl you're destined to be with." She was confusing me now. I have no idea what she's talking about.
"I'm not sure I can answer that."
"Aren't you in charge of your own destiny?"
"I guess."
"Well then it's time to say, 'Enough'. I mean when two people are this right for each other there's only one thing to do."
"How long have you felt this way?" Now it makes sense. Sonny likes me and is trying to get me to ask her out.
"Just since yesterday. It hasn't been long but it hit me like a ton of bricks." Wow, she's this worried about when I'm going to do it.
"I mean, I guess I feel the same way." Secretly, I have always liked her. So why not just ask her.
"Well then do something about it." She replied.
"Okay, I will." I was preparing how I was going to say it.
"Great." She said. She had such an assuring tone to her reply.
"Sonny, will you go out with me?"
