"But mum! I don't want to be in Slytherin!" the boy of 9 with long black hair and cold grey eyes, yelled back with as much force as his mother did.
"If you become a filthy Gryffindor, you will disgrace the Black family name!" she screamed.
Sirius stood up and walked up to his mother. "You and father have already done that." he said acidly to his mother.
She gaped at him then slapped him hard across the face. He staggered and fell to the ground.
"You-will-never-say-that-again!" She shrieked in one breath.
Sirius tried to stand up but was dizzy. He stumbled over his feet.
"Wait until Hogwarts. You will be in Slytherin." She said in a matter-of-fact voice.
He walked up to her and was staring at her in the eyes, "You will see I will not be in Slytherin!"
He turned at went up the stairs.
"WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE YOUR BROTHER!" His mother screamed from the kitchen.
Sirius quickly went up the stairs, passing Kreacher who was muttering, "Master Sirius will upset his Mistress, just like he always does."
When Sirius got in his room he locked the door. He turned and looked for his favorite thing in the whole-wide world: Mr. Snuffles.
Mr. Snuffles was a black dog, stuffed animal. He had it since he was two and always played with it. It was a comfort to him when he needed it and no one else would give it to him.
When he found Mr. Snuffles, he gave it a squeeze and then said to Mr. Snuffles, "I'll show them. I will NOT be in Slytherin."
AN: I was bored and I wanted to do something different. I always wondered what Sirius's childhood was like. Anyway review! 3
