5 Paragraphs of Destiel

1: Castiel closes his eyes, feels the warm breeze blow through his hair as he leans against the rusty railing of the pier. He can see the disappointment in Dean's eyes, hear it even though he's no where near him. It haunts him. He straightens up suddenly, ready to do what he wasn't able to do untill now. Mind made up, Castiel speeds to Dean to make everything right.

2: Dean startles out of his sleep, chest heaving and heart pounding as he tries to shake the nightmare out of his head. Looking at the bottom of the bed where he knows that Cas will be perched, he smiles at the angel. Castiel tilts his head, his blue eyes curious. Feeling much calmer Dean lays down and pulls the cover tighter around him and drifts back to sleep.

3: The room of the shady motel that their staying in is quiet. Only the sound of turning pages and the ocasional weary sigh is heard. Sam went to get food, leaving Dean and Cas to do the research. Dean glances up to give his eyes a break from the words that seem to be swimming around his head, making no sense at all and is instantly pulled into the blue eyes looking back at him. He can't move, can't do anything, but stare, completely awed by what he sees in Castiel's eyes. The door knob twists and Dean jerks out of the trance.

4: Dean grunts as he half drags Castiel into the motel room. Trying his best not to panic as Castiel bleeds all over the floor. "It's gonna be OK Cas, It's OK." He says over and over, not sure if he's saying it for Castiel's benefit or his own. Sam patches Castiel up and leaves. As soon as he walks out the door, Dean lays down beside Cas, softly placing his arm over him. Snuggling closer, he breathes is Castiel's scent. Everything is good.

5: Dean inhales deeply as he moves closer to Castiel. Rain, that's what Cas smells like. Dean moves closer, lips lightly brushing Cas'. The only thought that crosses Dean's mind is "perfect".
