And then he was gone.
Just like that. He never even said a word. She stood and stared at the spot where she had last seen him before falling to the floor and crying. Her friends came over to her and her cousin held her shoulders as she cried over her loss. Everyone just stood in silence waiting for someone to act until she finally stood up and walked away without a backward glance nor word to any of her on looking friends.
She never forgot that feeling. It stayed with her, and she knew that no matter how hard she tried she would always be missing something inside of her. People might see it but they will never know, for she will not speak of it as the pain is too much too bare.
