A/N: It's like, 9 p.m. where I am, and I get this sudden urge to get a chapter up of each story listed as 'Upcoming' in my profile. Eh, here's one of the results. Hope you like it, if you don't….well, it might all get re-posted in the morning.
Disclaimer: No, I don't own Gilmore Girls! It's shocking isn't it?
Lorelei Leigh Gilmore, more casually known as Rory, stumbled out of her hybrid car. It was 8 a.m. on a beautiful New Haven morning, but due to the enormous hangover currently blurring her vision, you'd doubt she'd notice.
"Damn sun."
It wasn't the Rory that had started Sophmore year at Yale. It wasn't the innocent, bambi-eyed girl that had started the term fresh-faced and ready. In fact, that girl was her downfall.
She'd had a thirst to prove herself to her superiors. She hid it well, acting like being a goody-two shoes was something she always did, not to suck up, just out of habit. But when a breaking story came along, Rory couldn't disguise who she secretly was. When given the chance, she took the story, and instead of making front page of the Yale Daily News, the Life and Death Brigade made front page of her life. The Brigade, and Logan to be exact.
The same Logan, that was leaning against her dorm door.
"Shit, Logan. I saw you a few hours ago, what's it now?" Said Rory, slightly slurring her words. She was still a bit tipsy.
"Just wanted to make sure the newest member was holding up well, we don't need any injuries to disrupt the eternal fun."
"If jumping off a seven story platform didn't kill me, I doubt last night would have."
"Yeah, I heard some of the guys talking about that. Of course, in the Life and Death era, that display would have been frowned upon."
"So would this." Rory stated, as she flipped him off while pushing her way into her room. It was too early.
eek, well? Review, anyone, please? Was it horrible? It'll get better! I promise with a cherry on top!
