She stood before me, beautiful as she always was, this time in an ornate white dress with a bird symbol across her chest. It was similar to the goddess outfit she wore so long ago... "heh, It's funny how despite how grueling that time was: how I'd never want it any other way..."
"Are you daydreaming again?" I heard her say in her tradmarked "I'm annoyed" tone, and it snapped me out of my thoughts.
"No, I was just thinking about how we got to this point." I replied to her, admiring her features and her blonde hair.
She pointed at me and said "well snap out of it! It's almost time!"
"It will be fine my love." I stroked her hair a little as a I said it. Which got me a "It better be" and a glare from her. "She's cute when she's angry."
We walked in to the courtyard in front of The Statue of The Goddess, where Gaepora was waiting for us. He smiled as everyone in town watched us walk towards him. Me in a specially made white tunic for the occaision. "I see you are prepared for what is being done now", he said.
"Yes, we are". I heard her say confidently. I nodded to agree. "May we start?"
"Yes you may." Gaepora said.
We looked at the items on the table, the items for me to say my vows with.
"My Dearest, "With this hand I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine." She smiled to me. "With this candle," I held out the candle that was on the table. "I will light your way into darkness." I pulled my sword from its scabbard on my back, "With this sword, I will protect you from the dangers that try to claim you." She suddenly looked serious as I pulled a ring out of my pocket as she did the same from hers, and in unison we said,
"With this ring, I ask you to be mine!"
We slipped the rings onto each other's fingers slowly.
"You may now kiss the bride." I heard Gaepora say
I leaned into my precious Zelda as she leaned in towards me. our lips touched before we took each other into an embrace, and as I felt us kiss, I could only think...
"She IS mine"
