I waved my wand and recited the spell, over... And over... And over.
"Its not working Phil." I gripe, slapping my head.
He doesn't say anything, just watches me- and honestly... It's a little creepy.
"Phil! Care to help?"
He doesn't respond, what's wrong with him? Ever since we got 'Chosen' for Slytherin he's been..well off. Yesterday when we were in the banquet hall He had been ignoring everyone, especially ME! Which is a pretty big deal. It's hard to ignore me, you know.
I suppose I could understand though. After all he was the son of Harry Potter, who's family had been killed by -one who's not to be mentioned- and WHO WAS IN Slytherin.
Poor Dude. Must be kinda sucky.
"Look, Phil, I know your upset about -Well all of this - but Hey, try to make the most of it."
His shoulders seem to sag even more when I finish. Man, I'm such a help.
"PHIL! This isn't funny! Whatever your hoping to get out of.. Being like this- attention, rumors, who knows what- it's NOT FUNNY!"
He breathes in deeply, and his shoulders straighten. "Look, Odelle, I'm just feeling," sigh, "Down."
I narrow my eyes and bend over him, "Well start feeling up, cause classes start in 10 minutes- and if I don't learn this spell someone's going to pay."
I stand and he chuckles, "Okay, okay! What you need to know?"
We spend several minutes discussing how to turn my frog orange, when he abruptly stops.
"Dwarf got your tongue?" I ask.
"No..." he bites his lip, and leans forward. Before I can do anything his lips are on mine. When he stops and stands back, I make a gasping noise.
"What in the Slytherin-" I begin. But he's already racing down the corridor.
And I still haven't learned that spell.
