A/N: This might suck big time, but it's my first fanfic. It probably won't get updated regularly either. I'm just not good with these kinds of things. Read and Review if you'd like. Let me know what you would do or please tell me of any grammar mistakes you might have found that I haven't. All suggestions are welcome. :)
Return To Order: Part I
"It would have been a normal day, just like any other, if and only if she hadn't shown up again. What the hell is she thinking just showing up like this and demanding me to leave? Like I could ever just get up and leave everything when I wanted. Not that I want to either." Rachel glared at her reflection knowing a retort was coming.
"Well, maybe if you hadn't have left without warning before, she wouldn't just assume you could easily do it again! And it's not just her, The Order is looking all over for us. You know that. Now they've sent her to bring us back. Admit it, you wouldn't mind her all up in our business once again, would you?"
Rachel's reflection smirked.
"Shut up. You know I left for all the right reasons. They suffocated me and forced me to submit to their little mind games. I couldn't even leave that damned house. I was a prisoner. If she was so upset about it, then she should have come looking for me much earlier. But no, now she comes and only to help out The Order, the very people that drove me away!"
"Face it dear. You just shouldn't have left her behind like that. You know you were wrong. You left her with those people. Now every time you see her you'll just be reminded that they got to her. She works for them now. She isn't free."
Rachel clenched her fists.
"It's your fault. They took her control. You left her to become a lab rat. You let them take her free will. It's all your fault."
Rachel picked up her chemistry text-book and chucked it at the mirror. Shards of glass fell to the sink, but it didn't stop her reflection from talking.
"Well that wasn't very nice. And it sounds like you my dear are being summoned. Hopefully you don't get into much trouble. I quite like our pretty face. And don't forget, you did this to her. Not me, it was all you."
Rachel sighed. Her other half was right. If only she stayed long enough to convince her to leave with her. If she had just given her a chance, maybe, just maybe The Order would have never found her again. Seconds after her other half subsided, she was in a new room. No longer in the bathroom at the school, she saw her waiting for her arrival.
Sitting on an old, dusty couch and hands folded, her eyes never left the spot where Rachel appeared. Her face was only a mask. There was no longer any emotion left. It was all gone, just a shell of a beautiful young woman who Rachel once loved.
"Santana..."
"Rachel, it's been a long time."
