This is kind of a rip off of Trouble in the Love Triangle -which turned out bad- but oh well.
Sam just wants Freddie's attention. Freddie wants Carly's attention. Carly wants Sam to see her the way she wants her to.
She Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
If I have to watch him make googly eyes at her again, I'll scream. How can she not see this? That's right; she's 'paying attention'. Man, I don't need an education. My mom doesn't have one, and she's doing just fine. I wonder if I have any more jerky…
Sam glared at Carly from across the room. Yes, she was her best friend, but that didn't mean Sam couldn't hate her, did it? She didn't hate Carly herself, per say, just the fact that she had the attention of the man she wanted, but rejected him! Not wanting to get any angrier and make a scene, Sam pulled out the jerky in her bag and started eating.
"Sam! Put the jerky up." the teacher demanded. Sam scowled and bit one last piece from the jerky strip. She shoved the rest in her bag and smiled sweetly. The teacher rolled her eyes and turned back to her lesson.
Stupid teacher… it's not like I was interrupting…. whatever she was teaching. I wonder what Carly is thinking. I wonder what Freddie is thinking. Probably something about Carly. Ugh.
Freddie turned to look at Carly. "Hey, did you get those notes from last period?"
"No, did you? Maybe Sam got them." Carly thought for a moment. "Never mind, let's ask someone else."
He didn't need the notes; he just wanted an excuse to look at her. He could've asked me for the notes. But he didn't. He asked her. I might have had the notes. They didn't know. …Okay, I don't, but you never know. I surprise myself sometimes.
The last bellof the day rang. "Okay, class, don't forget to do chapter seven!" called out the teacher as her students left the classroom.
"You guys want to go back and rehearse for iCarly?" asked Carly.
"Sure," agreed Freddie immediately.
"Eh, no thanks, I gotta go and start on that report for second period. I'll see you guys later." Sam trudged down the road and out of sight.
"She never does her work, especially not early. I wonder what's up." Freddie pondered out loud. Carly didn't say anything. She knew the real reason, even if Freddie didn't.
… well, it sounded good when I had a dream about it last night before I went to sleep. Review and tell me what you think!
