Hello :) Here is a purely PokeShipping oneshot that I wrote last week. I was inspired to write it because I recently watched the first episode of the Unova Saga again. I just pictured him thinking about Misty while he was on the plane :) I hope you enjoy!

Right this minute, I am sat on the plane heading for the Unova region. Pikachu is snoring gently on my lap while my mom and Professor Oak chat from either side of me. As I gaze out of the window and down at the shining blue sea below, my head is filled with thoughts. So many thoughts and memories of the people I travelled with long ago. It was only a few weeks ago that I said goodbye to Dawn and Brock as our Sinnoh adventures came to an end. I've said goodbye to many people in my life. Some have been joyful goodbyes but most have been sad. As a distant region came into view, my thoughts flicker to my best friend and secret crush, Misty. I think of all of our past adventures and the ones she couldn't be on with me. My thoughts turn into agony as I remember the day her, Brock and me separated. Sure, I have seen her since then, but it wasn't the same; she wasn't there cheering me on every league like she had done a few years back. Instead she was stuck in Cerulean City, doing something I know she doesn't enjoy. I close my eyes and lean back on the seat as I think of all the leagues she wasn't there with me. My eyes snap open as I hear the captain announce that we have arrived in the Unova region. A shiver travels down my spine as I realise there are new pokemon for me to see and new memories to make. I try to place Misty to the back of my mind but she soon comes bouncing back. I sigh as the plane begins to land.
'This one's for you Mist. I'm gonna win this league and I'm gonna make you proud.' I mumble to myself.
