Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who.

A/N: Not sure what this is, exactly. It's similar to Tactile, but with there might be actual dialogue. Anyway, enjoy!

Her faces shimmers, bright blues and muted greens and sparkling mauves dancing across her cheeks. Her eyes are alight with joy, little twinkling reflections in them. Her hair spills out, floating and ghostly in the crystalline water.

He's taken her to see the magnetic fields of Adamas, a planet covered completely by a layer of water, only neck-deep. Below it glistens a mirror-like ground. Stars light up the water around them, so they're bathing in liquid sky. Around them, invisible bands of magnetism twist across the sky, attracting bits of the planet's glittering surface. A thousand different colors spread across the sky, rainbow specs of metal snow. And it's breathtaking, but not half as much as the girl next to him.

She's fascinated by the dust that floast past her face. Fingers reach out, and it clings to her damp arms. They glimmer, and when the winds picks up, so does her face. He is content just watching her, his beautiful, starry human. In moments like these he sometimes wonders if she's all human, really, because she looks like she could take flight in a minute, to become a bright spot in the sky. He'd let her, too; he'd let her do anything as long as she was happy.

But her head turns to him, eyes full of joy and thanks. She drapes her stardust arms around him, smudges left on his shoulders, and kisses him. He decides that they need more outings like this.

And she decides that she won't fly away, not ever.
