Daggers ripped through my broken heart,
My mirror of happiness shattered,
I was trapped in cold fire.
All hope was lost,
Life lost all meaning,
Hime, why did you leave me?
Why did you have to go?
I remember seeing you
A pained look spoiling your beauty,
Your beautiful hair outlining your
Deathly pale face.
I fingered a strand, admiring its softness,
Even though it was filled with dirt,
Admiring its wildness,
Even though it now looked dead.
You smiled weakly.
You tried to talk but spluttered instead,
And I wanted to help you,
To take away your pain.
You looked at me in the eye,
Called me a brainiac one last time,
Then passed into Heaven.
Every night passes sleeplessly,
Yet dreams show your face,
I'm lost in a world with just me and you,
But then I wake and the illusion vanishes,
Dreams will never be reality,
Yet each night I pray
That one day we may be
Together again.
