A/N: I'm really, really not supposed to be writing fanfic right now, but Orphan Black has just gotten to me. I had to write this. HAD TO.

"Delphine, this is Alison, and Sarah," Cosima gestured at her genetic identicals.

Delphine looked at the clones, fascinated by their similarities. It was one thing to know she was watching a human clone, another thing entirely to see three of them together in person.

Alison shook Delphine's hand, but Sarah hung back, leaning against the couch. When Cosima glared at her, she directed a brief nod of acknowledgement in Delphine's general direction. Sarah stayed silent as Cosima and Delphine discussed their progress with Alison. Delphine tried to make eye contact, but Sarah stared fixedly at one of Felix's paintings.

It wasn't until Alison had gone to the kitchen to make tea, and Cosima had slipped away to use the bathroom that she spoke.

"I know how to hide a body, you know," Sarah commented in such a casual manner that Delphine was sure she must have misheard her.

"I'm sorry?"

"My first time wasn't that successful, but I've learned from my mistakes. I'd find somewhere less likely to be disturbed next time. No guns. The blood was a bitch to clean out of the floor mats."

Delphine swallowed and looked around but Alison and Cosima were still out of earshot.

Sarah stood up and sauntered up to Delphine until she was right in front of her. Delphine retreated a step, alarmed by the way the brunette managed to seem positively dangerous in spite of the petite build she shared with Cosima.

"This situation… it's pretty fucked up, yeah? Being made in lab, finding out there are a bunch of strangers walking around with my face," Sarah told Delphine. "But, you see, Cosima, and Alison... They kind of feel like sisters to me. We might not have grown up together, but we're blood, and we're in this fucking mess together."

Delphine nodded nervously when Sarah paused. Sarah searched Delphine's eyes in a way that made her fidget.

"Cosima trusts you. I think she might even love you. God knows why, but she's a big girl and I can't stop her from hanging out with you, even if you are her monitor."

Delphine's eyes widened at this, but for she even had time to fully process that, Sarah was speaking.

"But I'm not Cosima. I don't trust you one bit, and I certainly don't love you. I gotta be civil because of Cosima, but let me just get one thing straight."

Sarah grabbed Delphine's shirt collar and pulled her face down to be level with hers, and dropped her voice down low, losing all pretence of a casual manner.

"You fuck with my family and I'll fucking end you."

Delphine swallowed the shriek that wanted to burst out of her as Sarah glared right into her eyes.

"Got it, Frenchie?"

Delphine nodded furiously, gasping with relief when Sarah let her go. She stared at the clone as she returned to her position on the couch, and continued to shoot her wide eyed and wary glances as the others returned. They might have the same face, but Sarah was definitely not Cosima.
