I don't own anything to do with Law & Order SVU just a big fan.
Open Wounds
These wounds of mine are open for the world to see,
I tried to hide them, but could not succeed
I had so many wounds from my past,
It was easy to hide them, and to leave them to rest.
But after that final cut opened up wide,
It grew harder and harder to hide.
All those fears, fustrations and anxiety I felt,
Opened the wounds again, and left me to delt.
I want to know how to go on with my life without being afraid,
And having to hide these wounds everyday.
I wrote this poem as a tribute to Olivia. She's been through a lot in her life. One day the poem popped in my head, so I to write it. I hope you enjoy it. I have some other poems I want to post too.
