Hermione woke bright and early on the Monday a week before she was heading back to Hogwarts. She opened the letter sitting on the table in The Burrow. She was going to be starting her 3rd year in Hogwarts and she was going to Diagon Alley to get her books and new robes. The 3rd years were allowed to visit Hogsmede, if there parents signed the permission slip, her mum had signed hers straight away. She couldn't wait for the new year to begin.
Harry, Ron and Hermione were sitting under their favourite tree near the lake. She was supposed to be thinking about how they could help Hagrid with his court case about Buckbeak, but Hermione was thinking about Ron, she had started to like him in there second year and everybody new about it she was his girlfriend, but she had started to like Fred Ron's big brother. She didn't no what to do she could never be with Fred because he was Ron's big brother and he was in his 5th year. But she liked him because he was funny and sweet and always kind to her.
