A/N: This is a really short drabble. It's in Adam's point of view and I hope you guys know who the others are ;).
Anyway, I hope this doesn't disappoint, because this is like, seven months old and I had to translate it to English from Spanish. Not that fun.
Disclaime: I don't own Degrassi.
I sigh while I stand waiting for the subway train – for I live in the other side of this forsaken city with two classmates. I open my eyes to catch a glimpse of the moving train as it stops at the station and opens its doors.
My legs drag me and I get on board. This was second nature – my routine. Every day…And every day I notice how the curly haired beauty – because, dammit, there is no other word I could use to describe her – looks at the raven haired boy. They smile at each other warmly as I stare intently at their interaction. The girl always gets pulled back by the sea of people entering and walking out the bus – all those people are so oblivious to their surroundings; it makes me sick.
I get up to help her get out of the blog the amount of people has created and to my surprise; he grabs her by the arm and pulls her closer to his chest. She blushes and mutters her thanks as she makes her way up to me, like always. My heart rate increases in speed and I can hear it thumping in my ears, thump, thump. Her face is flushed with embarrassment and I nod at her to sit down next to me.
She places her bag on the floor, and as the train begins to move, the raven haired green eyed boy takes seat on the other side – leaving me in between the two - and holds his bag next him. I look at the boy, who gives me a lopsided smirk, and then my eyes shift to study the beautiful goddess sitting next to me. Any other teenager would be flirting with her, but not me. I knew how they felt for each other. It was obvious.
As time passes, the girl goes into deep slumber and I can't help but blush as I feel her head resting on my shoulder. The boy next to me is snoring, his head lolling from side to side until it finally hits my other shoulder. I sigh in silence as they both sleep.
I shift uncomfortably on the seat and place both my hands on my knees – palms facing me. The girl's soft, small hand grabs my pinky and I blush ten shades. The boy, on the other hand, begins to drool and I find this to be utterly disgusting… But I can't help but stifle a laugh as he mumbles something about the girl sitting next to me.
I notice, at the moment, that I tie them together. I grin at myself as I grab the boy's hand and place it on top of the girl's – that's when I can sleep in serenity.
The next day, the routine repeats itself. And I watch their friendship grow and blossom into something warm and majestic. And I keep observing as they laugh together and love each other.
Because, in the end, observing them and tying them together was like second nature.
