Misa had chosen her profession as a performer. She had thought about it seriously years and years ago. Was she going to go to college and be a teacher or was she going to get a record deal, sign those contracts, and land that movie? Of course she picked the latter.

Light was a performer, too. Light was an actor--- but, no, less than an actor. Not quite an actor. Light was a liar. It had never been a choice for him. It was a knee-jerk reflex, but it was a need, but it was an obligation, but it was just Light.

Every last move he made was planned, every word that left his lips was scripted, and Misa knew that every stroke of his pen had been practiced and perfected, as if he were starring in a play.

Light was the most mechanical individual Misa had never met in her entire life.

And Misa knew that it only took the smallest mishap to cause that fragile (hidden) constantly-on-the-edge (well-concealed) mind of his snap, but even then,

Even then, his gaze would never falter.

He'd trained his lips to turn up in that charming smile, and muscle-memory didn't let him down, even when he was screaming inside every last dark corner of his dark mind.

Misa was an actress.

And beneath those layers and layers of pop-idol idiosyncrasies, complete devotion, lack of morals and ethics, Misa was just a child.

Beneath everything, Misa was just a child and Light was a toy, a wind-up toy, and she was just waiting to see how much he could take before he completely malfunctioned.

o haii guize. I really like Misa and IDC what anyone says. I thought it would be kind of interesting to see the tables turned a bit. We always see Light as viewing Misa as sort of an object, obviously, but come on. I like to believe that Misa wasn't quite as stupid as she put on. All the characters of Death Note are a little warped, so I decided to dig through Misa's obvious insanities and find some hidden ones. XD Review please.
