Introductions.

My feet touched down on the cool grass as I flew out of the portal. I looked around, ...this isn't dragon shores! Where is the sand? The-ice cream stands? The crowds of people? This must be a mistake I must have taken the wrong portal. Hmm, that can't be it. The portal was clearly marked dragon shores. Perhaps I should ask someone for directions. As I turned around I saw a small mole wearing a lab coat, a confused looking cheetah and a Faun. "Oh, Hey! Which way to the...beach?"
The cheetah tilted his head to the side and the Faun giggled.
"Hey! What's so funny?"
She carried on giggling. Come to think of it, she's kinda cute.
"You're pretty small for a dragon."
The cheetah pointed at me and stared intently.
"You got a problem with that, Pussycat?"
Just as the words came out of my mouth two large dinosaur-like creatures and a midget came up to the area where we were standing. The small orange creature started to talk.
"Well well, someone forgot to invite ME to the party. Are you hiding something from me?"
He blasted the portal into peices with his scepter.
"A dragon? You brought a DRAGON to Avalar? I HATE Dragons! Gyaaaahhhh!"
He flailed about and waved his scepter in the air. A small fairy with orange hair flew over to the faun, who whispered something into her ear. She fluttered over to the orange creature and zapped him with her wand. He jumped in the air and turned to face the smaller dinosaur, who was standing up on two feet and holding a club.
"Ow! Gulp, Kill it! KILL IT!"
He took a swing for the fairy with his club, who had managed to fly out of the way just in time. The club hit the small orange creature, who was sitting on top of the larger dinosaur. The small creature flew off of the dinosaur and threw his scepter into the air. The large dinosaur caught the scepter in his mouth and swallowed it. A low rumbling sound was heard and it made a small explosion in his stomach.
"Gulp you Imbecile! You ate my scepter!"
The large dinosaur threw the orange creature onto his back and ran off. The smaller dinosaur followed closely behind. The creature stood up and shouted "I'll deal with YOU later!"
When they were gone from sight, I turned around and said "Who was that jerk?"
Everyone turned to face me. The Faun started to explain.
"That was Ripto, and you have to get rid of him! He's causing all sorts of trouble around here, but I haven't got time to explain. Take this magic guide to avalar,
It will help you begin to understand out worlds. Right now, I have to follow Ripto and see what he's up to. Meet me in summer forest, ok?"
Sparx took the guidebook and ran off, the cheetah following closely.
"Hey, wait a minute!"
I sighed and looked at My friend, Sparx.
"How do we get ourselves into these messes, eh pal?"
