As he glanced down at his Dr. Who watch, Oliver said, "Jane, we're going to be late for Patrick and Sally's wedding. What are you doing?"
"I'm checking the reviews for the last story I wrote."
"You're writing stories? I wasn't aware you even read much."
She beckoned him over to look at her pc. "Of course, silly! Look, see, that's me."
"BeautifulOne69?"
"BeautifulOne was already taken, and I would've picked something else except I felt it necessary to be honest."
"What do you write?"
"Well, it's a web site for fans of shows and books. I just put myself in everything so it's all so much more interesting. See, these are my stories."
"'Queen of the Rings,' 'Spock Meets the Perfect Female,' 'The Real Jane Eyre,' 'The Ghost and Ms. Christie.' People actually read these?"
"Just look at some of my reviews!"
'"Funniest parody I've read in a long time.' 'What's wrong with you, you daft *itch.' 'Are you seriously suggesting Rochester would fall for this modern but weak imitation of his first wife?' 'Splendid irony and commentary on fandom.'" I see, they're all parodies!"
"Right, they're parodies on how dull things would've been without me in them."
"Jane, you're scaring me."
"I've noticed a lot of reviewers seem scared by my creativity. The poor things are just jealous that they don't have the real thing to write about. The more intellectual ones even gave me an award. See, the Mary Sue Award!"
