Last Experiment Standing: Movie Edition Episode 1: Season's Greetings

Written by DJhero523

Last season on Last Experiment Standing, 22 alien experiments competed for 1 million dollars in extremely dangerous challenges, each getting eliminated one at a time until only two were left: Angel and Melty. In a battle against the villainous LATDAEISF (Leage Against Total Drama and Everything it Stands For), Angel won the million by calling in her old friend Lilo Pelekai to save the day. Now, 14 of those experiments have been invited back for a second season. Bigger challenges, bigger drama, and a one million dollar prize! I'm your host, Chris McLean, and welcome to LAST! EXPERIMENT! STANDING!

In the middle of an abandoned movie studio somewhere in Canada, a bus stopped. On it were the 14 experiments from the first season of Last Experiment Standing that were asked to return for a second season.

"Welcome everyone to the second season of Last Experiment Standing!" Chris proudly shouted at the camera. "Let us welcome the 14 experiments that will be competing this season!"

Suddenly, an experiment walked off the bus.

"Ah, I love the smell of new season in the morning," Slushy said as he walked off the bus, carrying his bass and wearing his EXperimentZ outfit, which consisted of a leather jacket, an EXperimentZ cap, and white shutter shades.

"Slushy! You're the first one here this season!" Chris announced.

"Hashtag first!" Slushy said.

"Oh shut up," said another experiment. It turned out to be none other than Yang.

Chris announced the names of the other experiments as they walked off the bus.

"Yang! Sample! Richter! Sparky! Yin!"

"Oh, I'm so glad to be back Stitch," said last year's winner, Angel.

"I know," Stitch said before kissing Angel.

"You got SO lucky last year," said Melty, last season's runner-up.

"No way, that was all skill," Angel replied.

"Are you kidding?" said Bonnie. "You were under the control of an evil organization for most of the season, and you literally won just by calling Lilo to win the challenge FOR you. Now tell me: how there was any skill involved in that?"

"Buuurn," said Slushy.

"That's ironic," said Melty. "'Cause, you know, you're made of ice and-"

"Yeah, I get it," Slushy interrupted.

Chris continued announcing the names. "Angel! Stitch! Bonnie! Melty!"

"Yo Angel, you forgot your keyboard," said Splodyhead as he haphazardly tossed the instrument to Angel.

"Nonono wait-" Angel said before being pinned to the ground by her pink keyboard. "Thanks Splody," she mumbled.

"Mind if I, uh, clean you up?" asked Felix, the experiment notorious for cleaning up all messes.

"Boo," said Clyde as he gave a thumbs down to Felix for his bad joke.

"Splodyhead! Felix! Clyde!" Chris shouted.

"Move aside loser, this is my season to shine," said one famous experiment in a Bostonian accent as he shoved Clyde off the bus.

"...and Reuben! Welcome back to Last Experiment Standing!"

"The one season where I may actually NOT get voted off first..." said Reuben sarcastically.

"So, how have you guys all been doing?" asked Chris.

"Pretty awesome. With the money that Angel won last season, we were able to get a record deal and release our first album! Check it!" Slushy held up their first album, which was self-titled.

"Impressive," said Chris. "Reuben, how are you doing?"

"Well, I've been training up for this season so I can actually do better than last place," Reuben replied.

"And Yang, I see you're sarcastic as always."

"Yeah, whatever," Yang replied, sarcastically of course.

"Well you guys, I'm proud to announce that this season will be called Last Experiment Standing: Movie Edition!"

The experiments cheered.

"This season will be based off of Total Drama Action, but this time around, you won't be doing challenges based on movie genres. You'll be doing challenged based on the movies themselves!"

The experiments cheered again.

"Now follow me!" Chris led the experiments to a tour bus which led them around the film lot. "Now you guys know the drill. Every day, there will be a challenge based on one of the top grossing movies of all time. After each challenge, one team will win and be safe, while the other team's members will be up for elimination. One member will be sent home, and you can never come back. EVER. But there's a twist this time. Every so often, there will be a reward challenge. In that instance, no one will be eliminated, but the winning team will get a reward that may or may not help you in the next elimination challenge, wink wink. By the way, the confessionals are right there, in the makeup trailer, so go in there and speak your minds whenever you feel like it."

["Well, since I won last time, I thought I should get the first confessional of the season," said Angel. "And wow, this place is amazing! Free makeup while your telling the camera your confessions? Awesome!"

"Ah, it's good to be back in this place again," said Reuben. "I hardly even got to do any confessionals at all last season." One of the interns in the trailer handed Reuben a sandwich. "Free sandwiches?! Now this is going to be a good season. As long as I don't get voted off first again."

"Last season, I was under Angel's control, and I managed to kick everyone off the show one by one," said Yang. "That is, until Angel found me useless and dumped me in 11th place. But I'm not letting that happen again. This time, I'm taking everyone else out by myself. Angel, or should I say Devil, used me to win last time, and I'm coming out for revenge. You better watch your back, Pinkie!"]

"Whoa, what is this?" asked Felix as they drove to the site of the first challenge. There were 14 seats, one for each experiment.

"This, my friends, is the first challenge. A movie trivia challenge!"

["Yes! Something I may actually win!" Reuben exclaimed. "I'm a movie expert. This'll be too easy."]

"Everyone, choose a seat."

The experiments all took a seat, and Chris continued.

"Now, the rules are simple. I will be asking you a series of questions about movies. Every experiment will take turns answering questions. If you get a question wrong, you will be eliminated from the challenge, and you will receive a special surprise, courtesy of Chef."

Chef grinned and waved.

"I really don't want to be the first to find out what the 'surprise' is," Yin whispered.

"Now let's get started! Bonnie! Since you took the first seat, we'll start with you. What were the names of the three sharks in Finding Nemo?"

"Uh, Bruce, Anchor, and Chum," said Bonnie, after a moment of thinking.

"Correct! Good job Bonnie, you're still in the game. Next up is Sample. What was the name of Percy Jackson's sword in The Lightning Thief?"

"Riptide?" Sample guessed.

"Correct! Felix, on to you. Who was the first experiment Lilo and Stitch encountered in Stitch: The Movie?"

"Uh, uh, Richter?" guessed Felix, unconfidently.

"Ooh, sorry, that is incorrect. Chef, show Felix the little 'surprise' we have for him."

Chef pushed a button on a remote. Suddenly, Felix's seat popped up and ejected him high up into the air before he landed on the asphalt about 50 feet away.

"Oooowwww," Felix said in agony.

["How the heck did I not know that?" Felix said, embarrassed. "I mean that was a Lilo and Stitch movie for crying out loud!"

"What an idiot," said Slushy. "Seriously, how could you not get a Lilo and Stitch question wrong?"

"Loser," said Yang.

Clyde just laughed.]

"The correct answer was Sparky," Chris said. "And honestly, how could any of you not get that right?"

The experiments laughed.

"Hey, I can hear that you know!" Felix shouted angrily.

"That leaves unlucky number 13 of you left. Remember, get one question wrong, and you'll get a painful reminder of how bad you are at movie trivia." Chris laughed. "Slushy!"

"Bring it on Chris!" Slushy excitedly exclaimed.

"Which movie won the Oscar for Best Animated Film this year?"

"Frozen!" Slushy answered.

"Correct! Pretty obvious, considering you're made of ice. Angel, you're next! Who starred as Jack in Titanic?"

"Leonardo daVinci! No wait-!" Angel shouted before realizing her mistake. Unfortunately, she was ejected from her seat and landed in the same spot as Felix.

"So, you answered an obvious question wrong too, huh?" asked Felix sarcastically.

"Can't. Talk. Too much. Pain," Angel replied.

"Twelve contestants left!" announced Chris. "Melty! Who played the titular character in the movie Jobs?"

"Ashton Kutcher!"

"Correct! Yang! Who was the director of the movie Jurassic Park?"

"Uh, J.J. Abrams?"

"Incorrect!"

Yang was quickly ejected from his seat, landing in the same spot as Angel and Felix.

"Hi friend!" Angel greeted.

Yang sighed.

["Okay, that time I didn't do so well, but I'll show you," said Yang. "I'll be the best player in this entire game."]

"Eleven left! Alright, we've gone through half of you already. Seven left to go for this round! Sparky, you're next. What was the name of Katniss and Peeta's mentor in The Hunger Games?"

"Haymitch?"

"Correct! Yin! ABBA contributed to all of the soundtrack for which movie?"

"Um, Saturday Night Fever?"

"Ooh, that is incorrect!" Yin was ejected, again landing in the same spot as everyone else.

["How come every question that's been answered wrong has been a totally obvious one?" Reuben wondered.]

"Reuben! Your turn!"

"I'm ready for anything you got Chris!"

"Oh really? What was the name of the shark in Jaws?"

"Oh, that's easy. Jaws!"

"Oh, sorry Reuben, the correct answer is Bruce!"

"WHAT?!" screamed Reuben before being ejected, to the same exact spot as every other eliminated player.

["Oh come on!" Reuben shouted. "I am way better at movie trivia than that. That was a trick question!" He angrily picked up a nearby sandwich and shoved it in his mouth.]

"Stitch! You're up! When was the movie Treasure Planet released?"

"2001?"

"Oh, off by just one year. It was actually 2002! Seeya!"

Stitch was ejected, and met with all the other eliminated players 50 feet away.

"Ten left and 3 to go for this round! Clyde! What movie did Pharrell Williams's song 'Happy' come from?"

"Despicable Me 2!"

"Correct! Richter! You're up! What is the name of Jack Sparrow's ship in Pirates of the Caribbean?"

"The Black Diamond?"

"Incorrect! The answer is the Black Pearl!"

"What? NOOOOOOoooooooo..." Richter exclaimed as he was ejected.

["There's a Pokémon reference in there somewhere," said Clyde.]

As Richter slammed into the ground, he caused a massive earthquake, causing the ground to open up under Chef and making him fall into the crevasse.

"I'm OK!" Chef shouted, as he grabbed onto a ledge and pulled himself up.

"Anyway, one question left for this round! Splodyhead! In The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, what is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?"

"Uh, uh, 24!" Splodyhead guessed as he pounded the air.

["Spongebob reference?" said Clyde.]

"Incorrect!" Chris said as Splodyhead was ejected. "Alright! Round one is over and we now have 8 players left! Now this round's going to take a little while longer, so we'll come back to the final two after this commercial break!"

[Commercial]

"Welcome back to Last Experiment Standing: Movie Edition! When we left you, round one was over and there were 8 experiments left! After each round, the questions got progressively harder, and we now have 2 contestants left: Bonnie and Clyde! (A bit ironically) Bonnie, it's your turn! What year did the movie Bonnie and Clyde come out?"

"What?! How am I supposed to know that?" Bonnie exclaimed. "Alright, I'm just takin' a wild guess. Uh, 1967?"

"That is correct!"

"Whoa, really?! Awesome!"

"Clyde, if you get this question wrong, Bonnie wins."

"Good luck Clyde," Bonnie said.

"Thanks Bonnie. Alright, what's the question Chris?"

"The question is: What were this year's Oscar nominees for Best Picture?"

"Oh man, this is going to be tough. Uh, 12 Years a Slave, Gravity, Nebraska, Captain Phillips, Philomena, Dallas Buyer's Club, Her, The Wolf of Wall Street, and, uh, uh, I don't know."

"What? Clyde, you were doing so well!" Bonnie exclaimed.

"Sorry Bonnie...!" Clyde shouted as he was ejected.

"And that means Bonnie wins the first challenge! Bonnie, that means you get an advantage in the second part of today's challenge!"

"Sweet!"

"Alright everyone, follow me to the location of the second part of the challenge!"

Chris and the experiments arrived at a giant pile of film reels.

"Welcome to the second part of today's challenge! Your challenge is to dig through this giant pile of film reels to find the golden reel. Now, you all have been split into two groups depending on what team you started on last season: the former Killer Bass, and the former Screaming Gophers. The first experiment to find the golden film reel will get to choose cabins for their group."

"I guess this will be a reel challenge, huh," said Melty to Yang, before getting punched in the face.

"Now, since Bonnie won the first challenge, she'll get a ten second head start in this challenge. Ready Bonnie? GO!"

Bonnie dove into the pile and started swimming around in it.

"While we're waiting for the ten seconds to be up, how 'bout we-"

"Found it!" Bonnie announced as she held up the golden reel.

"Wow, really? Already? OK then. Bonnie gets to choose cabins for the former Killer Bass."

"Woo! Yeah!"

"Alright guys, let's go over to the cabins!"

Chris stopped in front of two vastly distinct cabins. One was a giant mansion with two floors, and one was a small metal film trailer.

"Alright Bonnie, which cabin do you want?"

"Oh, you know which one I'm pickin'!"

"The giant mansion it is!"

The players from the former Screaming Gophers groaned.

"Players, to your cabins!"

The former Killer Bass, which included Bonnie, Clyde, Yang, Splodyhead, Angel, and Stitch, walked into their mansion.

"Aw yeah, I can't wait to party in this-" Bonnie said before realizing what she had just chosen for her team. "-absolute hellhole!"

The mansion was dirty, messy, and disheveled. Even though it looked like a mansion, it actually contained only a bedroom, with messy looking bunk beds that were extremely cramped.

"Aw, seriously?!" exclaimed Angel in disbelief.

"OK, if I could vote you off right now, I would," said Yang.

["The next chance I get to vote her off, she's going down."]

Bonnie facepalmed.

Meanwhile, at the former Gophers' cabin, what looked like a rusty old trailer actually contained a beautiful room with HDTVs, gaming consoles, a huge sofa, a fridge full of food, and comfy looking Tempur-Pedic bunk beds.

"Are we in heaven?" asked Slushy, in awe.

"No, but it's pretty close!" said Sample.

"Let's party!" Melty exclaimed.

"Yeah!"

Slushy, Melty, Richter, Sample, Reuben, Yin, Felix, and Sparky started a massive dance party, which could be heard even far away from the cabins.

"You guys should get some sleep!" Chris yelled. He then turned to the camera. "Haha, they're gonna need it. What will tomorrow's challenge be? Who will be on what team? And who will be the first person eliminated? Find out next time on Last! Experiment! Standing! Movie Edition!"
