So one day Soul was very unhappy. Soul had received a sandwich not prepared to his liking from Maka. The next day Maka and Soul went out training for there next ability to surpass the Genie Hunter. Both Soul and Maka got into position for Soul Resonance! Once they were both in perfect sync with each others souls Maka had prepared her attack. Maka swung and Soul broke free from Maka's grip. Soul then whipped himself around swinging his scythe self backwards towards Maka. With this one quick swipe Maka's legs were now just limbs dismembered from her body. After being rushed to the hospital she received prosthetic legs, moved to another country, and changed her name to Emi. She is now enrolled in Yamaku High School for the disabled.
