THE BROTHERS' WAR

The morning mist hovered over the field soon to burn away. From their hideaway, Dean stared down at the white A-frame tents representing the Union and Confederate camps. He tugged at the collar of his wool Union uniform, sweat beading on his face.
"Tell me why people do this re-enactment shit again?"
"I dunno." Sam settled his Confederate cap over damp curls. "They think it's fun, I guess."
"Fun? I'm sweating like a pig here. This is in no way FUN! I don't know how they do it."
"Beats me—but this was the best way to infiltrate the group."
