A.N. Hi there. This is a Hart of Dixie facfic that I've written and it's my first one ever. So please be kind but good comments and constructive criticism is much appreciated. So here we go!

Zoe P.O.V

Whilst waiting in my office for my next patient there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I told the unknown person.

Who would knock on the door? People just usually walked in, what with being a doctor and all.

"Hey Zoe, how're doing?" It was George Tucker, the guy I've been pining over for a while, and ever since the speech I made at the party I think he knew it.

"Hi George. I'm doing good, is there anything you need? Is someone hurt?" I rambled. God I was nervous.

"No I came to talk to you actually. There's something that I need to tell you." He looked down and shook his head. Oh no, that is not good. Watch this he's going to tell me that he knows. That he can't be my friend. I can't deal with that right know!

"Sure what's up?" He looked up looking confused. "I thought you knew." He looked down again as if his feet were the most interesting things in the world.

"Knew what?" Okay this was just getting weird did Lemon send him to play some kind of game with me cause I knew about her and Lavon? "Oh so you haven't been told. Well that makes what I'm about to say a whole lot easier you know that." He breathed a huge sigh of relief and carried on.

"Zoe, Lemon told me about her and Lavon. So I called off the wedding and to be quite honest, I'm not upset. I'm deliriously happy, 'cause it means I don't have to lie anymore and that I can be with the woman who I truly love, who truly makes me happy."

"Oh well I'm happy for you George. That girl you love is the luckiest one in the world to have a guy like you love her." I walked around my desk and patted his shoulder. "Well it's lucky you think that. 'Cause that girl, well it's you Zoe. I love you, and I want to marry you, and see you carry my children, watch them grow up, and us grow old and be surrounded by all our grandkids. I would give anything to have that with you." He looked down at his feet again.

I think I died and gone to heaven because I know for a fact that the real life George Tucker would not say that. Either way I don't care if it's real or not. Well it's now or never.

"George I have to tell you something too. I love you as well; I've loved you for... Well I don't know how long it's been now, but its true and I want to do everything that you just said. I want to spend my life with you. Starting from now."

I put my finger under his chin and pulled his face up. I smiled; this is the face that I want to see when I wake up every morning and if we do have any children I want them all to look exactly like their daddy. I leaned forward and he leaned with me one our lips touched there was no going back. When we stopped I leaned to his ear and whispered "You want to get out of here?"
