Hey, Uo here =D Well, here's another one shot up and ready for people to read. I was going to wait to post this but I decided I wanted to get it up here ^^ Please read and review.
"Can you believe this?" Riku questioned as he turned on his left turn signal.
"Nope." Axel responded as he flipped a page in the thick book that was laying in lap. Riku slowed the car to a stop at a red light before looking over to his long time friend.
"Took us forever..." the red-head nodded while biting his nail, a nervous habit, as he picked up a picture to show his silver haired friend. He couldn't help but laugh at the familiar image.
"How did our eyes get so red?" Axel shrugged as he held the picture for a closer inspection.
"And what the hell is on his head?" The two burst out laughing at the new picture that Axel had held up. A horn sounded behind them, causing the silver head to stop laughing and glare at the care in his rearview mirror. Meanwhile, Axel examined the old photo album.
It wasn't long til Riku announced there arrival. The two peered out there windows of the old town. Some shops were boarded up, some building were still running.
"Geez. How long has it been?" Riku questioned.
"10 years. This town must have missed us that it went down hill" They kept driving until they arrived in the residental area.
"HERE!" Axel burst out, causing Riku to slam on the breaks.
"Damn it, Axel! A little warning next time!" said person didn't hear anything for his gaze was transfixed on something else. Turning toward the object of Axel's attention, he couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face. The condition was in great shape. Guess whoever owned the place after it closed down took really good care of it.
"It was a nice orphanage. To bad it closed down," Riku nodded his head in agreement as the two stepped out of the car. "It sucked in a way. The second floor was hard for sneaking out."
"We managed though."
"Right down there was the school-"
"Which most of the time we had better things to do." Axel laughed out.
"Which the criminal records say that we broke it a least a dozen times." Riku stated with a smirk.
'If we hadn't left. We could've have graduated with them. Who knows if life would have been better or not."
"No way..." Riku put in as he lifted a photo that had been in his hand. A younger looking Riku stoof smiling mischeviously at the camera while the other figure, a brunette who was laying out in the grass. His eyes closed with a small smile on his face. Had anyone else seen this picture would have thought it was cute. To the silver haired man, it was a parnk. Something the camera hadn't caught was Riku holding a bucket of water to dump on unsuspecting brunette. Riku's eyes softened at the memory of the sad look the brunette gave him afterwords. He couldn't help but apologize.
"Remember that arcade place?" Axel asked after getting into the car. They had just toured the old orphange.
"The one that ate all of our savings?" The two laughed as they made there way back into town where old memories came to there minds.
"The cops hated us, always hanging out there," Riku pointed out. Axel nodded as he turned the page in the photo album. His gaze landed on one of him and a blonde figure. The blond was eating a popsicle and Axel had called out to him to look up. The red head had snuck a kiss on the blondes cheek before the camera went off. Axel chuckled at the memory of the blonde blushing profusely.
"It's amazing how we haven't seen them while growing up." Axel murmured as he shut the album.
"It made saying "goodbye"...the hardest thing..."
I miss that town
I miss their faces
You can't erase
You can't replace it
I miss it now
I can't believe it
So hard to stay
Too hard to leave it
