Hello! I really need to quit entering these challenges… Anyways, this was written for Hermione's Harmony "Do they know it's Christmas time at all?" challenge on HPFC. My quote was "Have you no shame? Don't you see me?". And Lauren, I hope this is good!

Pairing: Lily Evans/ Severus
Christmas time to Lily Evans wasn't exactly the ordeal breakup month. To her, it was possibly the most romantic time of the year, other than Valentine's Day.
And she thought she could live happily in a relationship with her boyfriend, Severus Snape.
She really didn't want to have the worst breakup on Christmas Eve. Under the mistletoe, but that's what she got.
Her and Severus had been invited to a Christmas party by one of Lily's friends, Alice. And Lily was required to bring a date.
She wasn't exactly so excited to hear that arrogant James Potter had been invited along also. But she lived with it.
Alice and her boyfriend, Frank, had decorated the whole corridor to look like Christmas. Snow was falling from the high ceiling, and the air was scented like gingerbread and cranberries. And Lily's favorite part, all the mistletoe. She was praying for a midnight kiss.
"Lily, you look great!" Alice exclaimed as Lily twirled around in the full-length mirror, examining her dress.
"Thanks, Al. I worked rather hard." Lily admitted, and laughed a little. She had spent 2 weeks altering the dress, and sewing glittery rhinestones on. No it was her dream dress.
"You better get going. Don't want to keep Sev waiting, now do you?" Alice laughed, and led Lily out the door.
Lily was waiting outside the door, as Sev hadn't yet arrived. She glanced down at her watch, noting he was 2 hours late. Maybe he had forgotten. But then again, it was Christmas Eve. She heard footsteps, and faint laughter. But she recognized her boyfriend's laugh.
She tiptoed over, and saw her boyfriend kissing another girl. She felt her heart pop like a balloon, and shatter into a million zillion pieces. Hot tears slid down her cheeks, and she gave out a little choke.
Severus turned around at the sound, and stepped away from the girl.
"Lily, no!" he cried, but Lily ran away.
"I guess you're going to tell me that it wasn't anything serious, now aren't you! And then expect that it'll be all right! Well it won't be, Severus! You're acting like it's all fine! Have you no shame? Do you not see me?" she screamed, and swung at her ex-boyfriends face. Her fist lodged into his nose with a satisfying crack.
"WE'RE OVER!" She shouted, as she was marching away.
